WHAT TO EXPECT
1. Tell Me About Your Needs!
To start simply fill out my custom invitation questionnaire below and I’ll get in touch with a custom proposal based on your needs and budget. We’ll talk about the options for your custom stationery (like paper options, whether to go with letterpress or foil, and if a wax seal would be perfect or maybe we should go with some hand dyed ribbon!) and answer any questions you may have.
2. Proposal & Pricing
We can adjust the proposal together to meet your needs. Once you approve your proposal and submit the deposit I’ll send over your details questionnaire, that will give me all specifics (how you want your name to appear on the invite, what time is the wedding, those important details that matter!)
3. Let the Designing Begin!
Not it’s time for the fun part! You will receive your first proofs about 2 weeks after designing begins. I’ll take all of those little details we talked about in the consult and I’ll create two initial design options for you to review via email. You’ll decide which option you love more and want to refine into the perfect Invitation!
Don’t worry if you want to see a different typeface, want to change the wording a bit, or you love the option one’s illustration, but like the layout of option two, I can make that happen during revisions!
Once everything is perfect, I will get all the files ready for printing and email you a digital proof to look over one last time. You’ll sign a print approval form and the remaining balance will be due before printing. I work with a handful of printers who are experts in what they do and I trust them fully to translate your final design from the screen to your hand.
5. Printing & Delivery
This is where the magic happens! Through a variety of printing techniques, each piece of your stationery suite will become a tangible, physical, amazing piece that will wow your guests from the moment they are mailing back their RSVP cards, to the last dance of the night! Digitally printed stationery takes 2-3 weeks for printing, and specialty printing (letterpress, screen printing, foil) can take 4-6 weeks for printing.
