About

hi there. i’m jen

I create non-traditional wedding invitations for creative couples. I’ve been drawing and making things as long as I can remember. I was voted ‘Most Artistic’ in my senior year of high school, friends call me ‘crafty’ and every notebook I have is filled with sketches. I pursued my artistic passions in college, earning my bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

I spent over ten years working with design firms crafting brand identities and printed promotions, but my heart wasn’t satisfied. With a little push from my then fiancé, I launched The Chatty Press on Etsy in 2011 with five address stamp designs. I wasn’t sure if anyone would notice, but they did, and they still do! I love creating truly unique wedding invitations, so couples like you can truly flaunt their unique style on their wedding day.

When I’m not fawning over paper swatches or sketching a new design, you can probably find me curled up with my husband Matt and our corgi Annette, binge watching something on Netflix (currently The Crown), or exploring New England in search of new adventures (and tasty donuts).

My Goal

Set the tone for your day by mixing elements of your love story and style into your wedding stationery. You’re unique, so let’s tell your story!

My Vibe

I love doing things a little different. Let’s be bold; let’s be unusual; let’s try something new. Most of all, let’s grab a beer to toast the two of you.

My Promise

You’ll receive an invitation that wows and have fun during the process! I want this experience to be as exciting as your cake tasting! (we just shouldn’t eat the paper.)

things i love to talk about
